The Trailer:
Re-Kill (2015) is set in a post-apocalyptic world, five years after a devastating zombie outbreak that claimed 4.5 billion lives worldwide, including 10 million in the United States. Major cities like San Francisco have been destroyed by nuclear bombs, and New York City has been completely sealed off. The U.S. government declares the crisis "over" and establishes a special unit called R-Division, tasked with tracking down and eliminating the remaining infected. The film is presented as a live broadcast of a reality TV show called Re-Kill, which sensationally covers R-Division operations. Between the action, viewers are shown propaganda-style commercials urging calm, obedience, and the need to "repopulate" the country. Meanwhile, a young girl watches the broadcast at home, unaware that she herself is infected.
Unfortunately, his character is killed off far too early in the movie. The focus then shifts to Sergeant Alex Winston and a new squad assigned to missions that eventually lead them into the restricted Zone in New York. There, they uncover the secret behind The Judas Project, an experiment that created more intelligent zombies, led by an ‘Alpha Zombie’ named Elvis. The surviving soldiers face an organized and growing zombie army, and in the end, only Rose Matthews remains. The film closes with a chilling realization: the outbreak is far from over.
Scott Adkins plays Sergeant Parker, a driven and muscular team leader of an R-Division squad. He appears early in the film during an intense action sequence in which his team storms a building full of infected. His performance is powerful—Adkins brings his trademark physical intensity and reminds us why he’s one of the most respected action stars of his generation. And as always, Scott knows exactly what needs to be done, as highlighted by his quote in the film about how to take down zombies:
