The Trailer:
Danny Harvey (played by martial arts actor Scott Adkins) was once the feared leader of the Green Street Elite, a notorious hooligan crew fiercely loyal to their club, West Ham United. Tired of a life filled with violence and chaos, Danny leaves the streets of London behind and starts anew, running a mixed martial arts gym in Scotland. Adkins, known for his high-octane action roles and martial arts background, brings Danny to life as a man haunted by his past but unafraid to fight when pushed. When local gangsters try to extort protection money, Danny easily takes them down. However, his peaceful life is shattered when he learns that his younger brother Joey has been killed in a hooligan brawl. Returning to London for answers, he reconnects with his old friend Victor (Joey Ansah), now a police officer, who warns him not to get involved. Undeterred, Danny visits the Abbey, the GSE’s local pub, where he meets bartender Molly (Kacey Clarke) and reunites with longtime GSE members Gilly and Big John.
After learning that Joey had recklessly provoked the wrong team and paid for it with his life, Danny decides to rejoin the GSE—much to Victor's dismay. Danny and Victor secretly agree to work together to uncover Joey’s killer while keeping their investigation under wraps. Danny quickly realizes that hooliganism has evolved: spontaneous street fights have been replaced by organized tournaments where teams of five face off in cage-style battles. Drawing on his MMA expertise, Danny begins training the GSE— a role in which Scott Adkins shines, delivering intense, hard-hitting fight scenes that showcase his full range of martial arts skills.
The threat escalates when the Millwall crew, led by the ruthless Mason (Jesse Birdsall), enters the scene. Mason relentlessly taunts Danny and is eventually revealed to be behind Joey's murder. To make matters worse, Mason is also Victor’s corrupt superior officer. With the final tournament looming, the GSE must confront Millwall in a brutal showdown. In the climactic fight, set inside a cage on a football pitch, Danny, Victor, and the GSE face off against their fiercest rivals. Despite Mason’s overwhelming strength, Danny unleashes a powerful comeback and finishes the fight with a spectacular flying dropkick—classic Adkins style—that knocks Mason out of the cage. The police arrive just in time to arrest Mason, and the GSE celebrates their victory as the top hooligan crew in the city.
For Adkins, this role was a unique opportunity to combine his martial arts prowess with a gritty British setting full of emotion, brotherhood, and revenge. It also allowed him to portray a more dramatic and human character than in many of his other action roles—proving he’s more than just a martial arts star.
